CM RETURNING.

Wwe News: Legend ‘Superstar’ Billy Graham Says CM Punk Will Return At SummerSlam

CM Punk

It seems that “Superstar” Billy Graham came out of hiding recently to tell the world what he thinks about CM Punk and when the Straight Edge Superstar will return to the squared circle. His comments come on the heels of comments made by Kevin Nash, Hulk Hogan, and Steve Austin.
I would take Graham’s comments with a grain of salt, as he does not know CM Punk so it would be impossible for him to know what he is thinking. Even if he lived with the guy, it may be tough to know what Punk was thinking regarding a WWE return. Graham still decided, however, to tell his Facebook fans what he thought though. He made some interesting points, saying:
“Hi fans, I thought you might enjoy seeing this shot from 1977 with the pink cap on and the belt over my shoulder. The question I have for all of you good fans out there is this, when do you think we will see the return of C M Punk and why? I say he will once again be in a WWE ring at this coming SummerSlam 2014. Why? Because its a perfect PPV event and tons of time has past since he left and he doesn’t want us to forget about him does he? The man does bring a lot of talent to the table. Superstar”
Again, Graham may not know first hand if CM Punk will return, but he makes some points that one should think about.
SummerSlam is similar to WrestleMania for WWE in that it is WWE’s version of capping off the summer and entering the big hunt to the Fall run of storylines. SummerSlam has been in WWE’s Big 4 PPVs the last number of years and is always a great show annually. Some memorable matches have taken place here and major WWE moments have also happened at the “biggest party of the summer”.
CM Punk could make an epic return and bring one of those big moments back to the WWE. However, no one knows when or if CM Punk will ever return. We do know that his soon to be wife and current WWE Diva AJ Lee will be back in a month or so. That could lead to a return, but no one can be sure. If WWE fans see Punk again, the only way for it to occur is for him to get a lot of incentives with his new contract.
CM Punk’s contract is set to expire this July. So in order to appear at SummerSlam he’d have to sign another contract. If he signs, the contract might be similar to that of a Chris Jericho or Rob Van Dam deal where he can work for a couple months at a time then take an extended break, then return and continue to do so as long as he would like.
WWE could simply offer CM Punk TV time deals similar to Brock Lesnar, where he only works televised events and no house shows. This would cut his workload down to 2-3 matches per week versus 4-6. So there is a lot more Punk can do heading into a new deal.
Many have guessed that CM Punk is waiting his current deal out and letting things really fizzle up so that when he wants to sign a new deal, the WWE will give him just about anything to get him back on. Whether or not he wants to come back is still up in the air though. CM Punk has been dealing with a lot of nagging injuries. As Graham said however, time can heal wounds so things could settle down in 8 months time. Even literal wounds can.
So although it might be speculating, Graham might be right when it comes to CM Punk. We could see him at SummerSlam or maybe sooner, it really all depends on Punk however. If WWE manages to sign him back on, fans would rejoice and money would be made from it all. So obviously WWE would love to make it happen if they could.

Is AJ Lee Absent Because Of WWE Issues With CM Punk ?

According to an April 22 report from Cageside Seats, many WWE fans are wondering why former WWE Divas champ AJ Lee has been absent from televised house shows since losing her belt to Paige two weeks ago. Lee, 27, hasn't appeared on any WWE broadcasts since losing to Paige on April 7. Could it be that her relationship with CM Punk hurt her standing with the WWE?
Apparently that is not the case. Lee is simply taking a little break from the WWE to settle in with Punk, as they prepare to get married. Lee reportedly requested time off from the WWE, and the promotion granted her request. Lee is set to return in May, when the WWE does a tour through Europe.
Lee is not expected to make her return to televised WWE shows in the United States until at least June, which means she won't be part of the WWE's upcoming Extreme Rules pay-per-view event. Lee was a WWE Divas champion for close to a year, but she was shockingly defeated by British newcomer Paige during the April 7 episode of WWE Monday Night Raw.
Paige has been holding down the fort since her shocking victory two weeks back. Since her win over Lee, Paige has defended the Divas title twice. The plan for now is to have Paige compete at Extreme Rules. However, Lee will not be her opponent.
Lee is expected to be back in action following the WWE's upcoming Extreme Rules event, which goes down on May 4 at the Izod Center in New Jersey. After her year-long reign as WWE Divas champ, Lee deserved a little down time. Props to the WWE for giving her a little time off, before sending her back into action.
When Lee returns, she should be better than ever. Lee will be gunning hard for her title when she comes back, but it's unclear at present time whether or not Paige will still be the Divas champ. WWE Universe can expect Lee to have a feud either with Paige or Tamina when she returns.
Time will tell how the situation plays out, but it's nice to know the WWE isn't holding Lee's relationship with Punk against her. Lee's engagement to Punk is personal, so it shouldn't get in the way of professional business. In all likelihood, Lee will someday return as WWE Divas champ.

Heyman was touting Lesnar ending the streak, and noted that Punk wasn't able to do that last year.
"Here's a pipebomb for you," Heyman said. "My client,Brock Lesnar, did what a Paul Heyman guy couldn't do last year when he conquered The Undertaker's undefeated streak at WrestleMania!"

Cm punk in pain !!!

CM Punk Was in ‘Considerable Pain’ Before Departing WWE, Says Mick Foley

Mick Foley said that CM Punk, who left the WWE recently, was in “considerable pain” during his performances.
Foley wrote on Facebook: “Yes, the response to that funny photo of CM Punk on a milk carton was incredible. While I respect everybody’s opinion – as long as it is given in a respectful way, I have to disagree with those out there who find great fault in Punk’s simply walk away.”
Foley’s post essentially defended CM Punk’s departure from the organization, citing his own personal issues while perfomring in the industry
“I am kind of like a ghost that drifts in and out of WWE, but in my past three years of drifting, I have never been to a WWE event where Punk was not in considerable pain. Ice packs, heating pads, and visits to the trainer were as much a part of his daily routine as eating. sleeping, and wrestling. Performing at that level, in that degree of pain was only possible when accompanied by the passion that turned an unlikely Indy kid into one of the greatest WWE superstars of his generation.”
He added that one the passion is “gone,” then it’s going to be tough to make him “great.”
Foley wrote: “I know what it feels like to go through the motions, and to do what needs to be done solely for the paycheck. It’s not pretty – and though I have not talked to Punk since the night before he left, I have to believe he has too much respect for what he does to let people see him going through the motions. If or when that day comes when CM punk returns to WWE, I hope it’s with that same passion that made so many of you care about him to begin with.”

WWE RUMOURS

CM PUNK UPDATE

After CM Punk quit the WWE in Januarythere has been no shortage of rumours and predictions of a return for the wrestler in 2014, with a purported leaked Monday Night Raw script suggesting he hasn't severed ties with the company just yet.
CM Punk is listed as 'INJ' (injured) on the talent roster sheet, presumably the kayfabe reason for his absence at weekly shows, events and PPVs the past couple of months, while the qualifying 'TBD' perhaps alludes to negotiations still taking place with the star.
So what can we really glean from this? Well, not a huge amount.
Punk is under contract with the WWE until June so it makes sense for him to still appear on the roster, or he could still be being named as a precaution in case scripts leak as they apparently did in this case.
Read the full script here. Whatever the case, one Redditor summed up the situation pretty accurately: "It would take a lot more letters than INJ to describe what's up with CM Punk."
The wrestler was in the crowd for the latest batch of Hall of Fame inductions in New Orleans earlier this month, but during anappearance on AMC show Talking Dead chose to go under his real name of Phil Brooks.
Commenting on the situation, Punk's former 'manager' Paul Heyman recently said: "I talk to him all the time. I don’t really talk to him about the industry all that much because it’s obviously a sore spot with him."I think when you talk about CM Punk/Phil Brooks, there were three people in the room the night that he quit: Vince McMahon, Triple H, and CM Punk. I don’t know what went http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/general/wwe-mma-wrestling/cm-punks-wwe-future-to-be-determined-according-to-leaked-monday-night-raw-script-9265295.html
in that room. I know certain perspectives, but none of those three have talked in public about it. If one, two, or three of them decide to go public, then we’ll get a perspective on what happened that day. Until one of the three of them speak about it, it’s only rumor and speculation and gossip. How’s he doing? He’s fine. Does he miss the business? I don’t think so.
